Guy has over 14 years’ experience in power and electrical infrastructure project development, construction and operations, with more than 10 years focused on Africa. Prior to joining Azura, Guy worked for MPG, an African-focused power developer. During this time he managed the development, construction and O&M implementation phases of the 115MW Tobene Power thermal IPP project in Senegal and the 87MW Thika Power thermal IPP project in Kenya. He also led the development of the 120MW Malicounda Power thermal IPP in Senegal. Previously, Guy worked as Project Manager then as Key Account Manager for SIG-Geneva.
He holds an Electrical Engineering degree as well as a Technological Innovation Management certificate from Ecole Polytechnique, Montreal, Canada. He is fluent in English, French and Arabic.
