Seynabou spent 13 years at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) where she was ultimately head of ESG for sub-Saharan Africa. There, she led the organisation’s efforts to promote sustainable private sector investments while overseeing a portfolio of over 380 companies. Prior to that, she spent over 8 years in the environmental insurance industry providing risk management services through balance sheet protection.
She is fluent in French, Wolof, and English and holds a Masters in Environmental Sciences and Environmental Policy from Johns Hopkins University in Washington, DC and an Executive Masters in Business Administration from London Business School.
